Well your not on your own there Liz
No matter how much i seem to do exercise wise or cut down on food i still seem to stay the same weight - I think i know where my problem lies Oh life's too short!!!
anyway glad it's Friday, another week over, there are rumblings in work of many redundancies , mainly the teaching staff as we are employed by the council and not the school as it were but numbers of kids are dropping too as of next year so we are thinking maybe one of us is not far behind, although unless they offer redundancy (they'd try and place us somewhere else first ) I'm not sure what kind of a position i'll be in as I was the last one in so to speak, so will i be the first out? I am also at a disadvantage as i do not drive so cannot easily get anywhere else unless it's on a bus route or walkable.
It's all very uncertain at the moment |

Afternoon All,
Havy frosts here all week and despite brilliant sunshine, the ice in the bird bath prevails.
Have had an awful migraine all blooming week, or the remnants of one (now) so actually could have done without the sun being so cheery.
Had to drag myself into town yesterday for my contact lenses check up, which went well, and chose some new glasses too, which should come next week.
Moley, I know it's far easier said than done, but other than keeping your eyes peeled for anything else that might (just might) crop up locally in the jobs market (ever the optimist aren't I!) try not to worry yourself unnecessarily - as much as you can, try for a 'cross that bridge when we come to it' attitude, otherwise you'll have a very unsettling few months
Am looking forward to a quiet weekend. _________________ |
