First it was the Kit Kat and the Smarties tube.
Now the Sherbet Fountain is to be made over for the modern age.
The yellow and orange paper packaging complete with liquorice tube poking out of the top has been a children's favourite since 1925.
But from next month it will be no more. The replacement? A resealable plastic tube.

The soggy paper was the whole point of it! The challenge was to suck up the sherbet, the eat the liquorice without the paper going soggy!!
Kids today have it too easy - and plastic sherbet fountains will only make it worse!
Hmmm is it sherbet or sherbert???????
